Follower Growth

Gaining followers on Twitter not only helps you grow your influence, but also makes it easier to build a business.

Getting your ideal audience

Almost everyone knows generally who they should be talking to - what creators are reaching the same people they want to be talking to. But everyone falls short because they don’t make that list a reality.

Think about who your list of dream creators is. These are the people who even if they aren’t engaging back with you, are still providing value by exposing you to new people. This can range from people with 5k followers to someone with 1M+ followers - it’s about audience influence, not reach.

So let’s get you in front of a new audience:

  1. Create your Dream 100 list of creators, and import that list into Implicit.
  2. Take that list into the Connect view of Implicit.
  3. See which posts come up to the top (these are the most relevant), and begin replying to them.

This puts you directly in front of the audience that you NEED to be talking to - putting eyes on your work, and putting you on the map.

Reaching Twitter mentors

Most ‘influencers’ on Twitter have tons of pull, but don’t have time to interact with most of their fans. Most of us know the pain of commenting a dozen times on an influencer’s post and getting a “Cool” in response.

So it’s a special occasion when you find someone influential that takes the time to respond back. These are what we like to call your “Twitter mentors”, Implicit has sorted these people into a separate list that can help you keep up with the relationships.

You can do this by:

  1. Choosing the existing “Mentors” list
  2. Taking this list to the Connect view and engaging with the posts that come up to the top
  3. Consistently doing this and gauging how frequently they respond or engage back

Giving you a chance to get recognized, and have your comments or even your work brought in front of thousands of potential new fans.

Keep up with Friends

Twitter gets lonely if you can’t find your group of ‘Twitter friends’. You need people that you will both support you in the beginning, and grow alongside you - getting you followers in the process.

Implicit makes this happen by helping you create a list of your most likely peers around your size. Making it easy to find posts worth sharing / engaging with. And letting you quickly go from replies to DMs in seconds.

To do this, just:

  1. Choose the existing “Peers” list, or create your own of a similar style making powerful lists
  2. Take that list into the Connect view and find relevant posts to engage with / share.
  3. Once you’ve formed a solid relationship with your peers, take them into DMs from the same page - letting you advance your relationship or plan out content / collaborations.

By doing this, you’ll quickly and forge valuable connections with like-minded people. Which will not only get you a group to interact with and bounce ideas off of, but also one that will be crucial to consistent, long-term growth.

Getting People Excited

It sucks when people seemingly interested in what you’re doing, just drop off the face of the earth. That product or e-book that would have been perfect for them ends up getting no use.

But there are ways to get people hooked back on, and Implicit can make that happen. By helping you follow up with old conversations, and showing you who you’re falling behind on engagement with.

You can do this in Implicit by:

  1. Choosing the existing “Fans” list, or creating your own of a similar style making powerful lists
  2. Taking this list into the Connect view and using the “DMs” tab to show which conversations you may have forgotten about
  3. Using the “Replies” tab to help keep up with fans you may be losing a grasp on

This puts you back in the drivers seat of most conversations, and helps you resurrect those ‘dead leads’ - and keeping you from those “What if I had just ___” thoughts.’

Gaining New Fans

It’s easy to overlook the small creators, but doing so means you’re missing out on huge potential for growth and eyes on your content. Those with small follower counts are usually very dedicated, and their fans are even more so.

Implicit helps you build momentum and snowball in these small communities. By helping you create lists of fans that are eager to talk about and share your content - and making it extremely simple to engage with them.

Do this by:

  1. Choosing the existing “Fans” list, or creating your own of a similar style making powerful lists
  2. Use the Connect view to see the most relevant posts from fans
  3. Engage with their posts and create an atmosphere of usefulness and likability.

If done right, you’re essentially tapping into a hidden world of influence that most overlook. As long as you’re kind, humble and fun to be around, you’ll attract a lot of attention with relatively little work.
